But there should be little doubt on Stepney's stamina as she finished a close 2nd over 1 mile 4f on her debut at Lingfield's AW track, and her sire Mount Nelson has a 31% strike rate with his progeny on the Tapeta here at Wolverhampton. So with Pondering trying to break new ground for her sire here the value bet here has got to be Stepney and she looks well worth an investment in this today. ;)

Vision Des Flos is closely related to Balko Des Flos, who won his first 2 starts, both in bumpers. Robert Tyner trained the 22/1 winner of this last year and his last 2 bumper runners have been placed at 22/1 & 16/1. Great to see Derek O’Connor riding.

His last winning hurdle race was off 112 with Daragh Bourke in saddle who got 5lb allowance, he also was in saddle when he won his chase win also getting the same 5lb allowance, Although his last race was 169 days ago the fact that he's had good times round here and Daragh knows the horse having been in saddle 10 of last 11 races and still getting that 5lb allowance which is 2lb below last hurdle win
Her sire Foxwedge has a 60% strike rate with his progeny on...Her sire Foxwedge has a 60% strike rate with his progeny on the Tapeta here at Wolverhampton and she ran quite well in defeat here on her Tapeta debut her last start over the shorter mile trip, and an improved effort on her second start on the Tapeta today wouldn't be all that surprising. In both of her last 2 starts she shaped as though a step up in trip would benefit her greatly, so the extra distance combined with a surface that should suit her better than her rivals may see her take this event today. Favourite Cliff Bay wouldn't be completely guaranteed in handling the Tapeta as his sire does have quite a poor record with his progeny on the surface, and he didn't look all that comfortable on his Tapeta debut at Newcastle last September, which should enhance Dyna Might's chance a fair bit in this. Looks a great each way investment here today, with a decent chance of getting off the mark on her second start at the track. ;)
