Top Jockey - Cheltenham 2017

I like Tom Scudamore at 33s to be top jock at Festival. Has Thistlecrack & Moon Race, 2 I like and David Pipe is guaranteed to have a few handicap plots. Don't think Walsh is the shoe-in he has been in past seasons with so many Mullins injuries and no Gigginstown runners.

"Gaultstats" for this years festival will be on the site on Monday.

The present site has all the information prior to last years meeting and under the highlighted "general" is jockey information plus much more.

Re: Top Jockey - Cheltenham 2017

I can see the case for case for Barry Geraghty as there seems to be more JP plot jobs for the handicaps this year than previous years, noted a few below that look to have big chances in handicaps no matter where they go

For good measure
After Rain
Thats a wrap
Modus
Ivanovich Gorbatov
and plenty more

But it will be tricky to pick the right ones with so many option but 11/4 looks a decent price

No Mate!!  There's only 1 Walsh   that gets my Money and it's definitely not Mark! Ruby Ruby Ruby All Day long, just shows the strength in depth of Willie Mullins Horses when the likes of Annie Power / Faugheen / Min  and/ Getabird have been ruled out due to injury yet he still has the likes of Limini / Vroum Vroum Mag/ Djakadam/ Airlie Beach +Lets Dance +Augusta Kate or Asthuria to choose from in the Trull House Mares Novice Hurdle then you have Douvan in the Champion Chase and Un De Sceaux who looks nailed on in my opinion to Land the Ryanair Chase/ then you also have Yorkhill who holds great claims in the J.L.T Novice Chase but also wouldn't look out of place if he were to line up in the Champion Hurdle either/ Also has 3/1 Fav in the Supreme in the shape of Melon too/ that's without what they have lined up in the Handicaps and also the Bumper in which Mullins has Won on Numerous occasions.  The wealth of talent  that Ruby has the chance to choose from is ridiculous, He's a certainty to come out on top again without doubt imo. Good Luck Anybody Backing against him that's what I say. All the Best of Luck you'll need it.

I'm not keen on Melon either to be honest as I believe experience is very important at the Festival, especially in the Novice Races, The Festival Bumper has proved a decent guide over the Years so Ballyandy for me has to be very high on the list and the Deloitte Novice Hurdle in Ireland has also played a Big part in producing the Winner at Cheltenham so I make Bacardys a Big Player too considering he also figured highly in last Seasons Champion Bumper at the Festival when Finishing 3rd to Ballyandy so with more likely to come from him he can at least go close if lining up in the Supreme rather than 1 of the other Novice Hurdles later in the Week.

Re: Top Jockey - Cheltenham 2017

Bryan Cooper @7/2 W/O Ruby market looks a good bet.. Got some very good rides next week in graded races and handicaps such as Death Duty/Alpha Des Obeaux/Tombstone/Apples Jade/Tell Us More/ Denaria Des Obeaux/Disko/Shattered Love/Petit Mouchoir/Road To Riches/Outlander/Sutton Manor//Lord Scoundrel/A Genie In A Bottle/A Toi Phil & Empire Of Dirt amongst others.

also tempted to have a bet on the "any other jockey" with betfair exchange, as i am hearing BARRY GERAGHTY could yet make the festival!

Paul Carberry said that a few nights back apparently.

However, Walsh has been confirmed on Yanworth, More Of That, Jezki & Uxizandre.

Best of luck to him.

With Fehily taking Buveur Dair & Harry.

Coleman takes the ride on Minella Rocco.

Thx for update folksi. Think NF rode those two last season and personally would always rather have a jock who knows a horse.
