FRIDAY Afternoon racing at NEWMARKET - YORK - NEWTON ABBOT 13/10/17

Newton Abbot :

15:10 YOUNG DILLON e/way at 12/1 BOG .

Looks worth taking an each way bet in a very open looking race. Some top stables represented hence the good looking odds. This is his 2nd run since return to hurdles after not taking to chasing game. His first LTO was very encouraging. Tries blinkers for first time and they can liven him up even more . Dr Newlands has 20 per cent win rate with horses in first time blinkers. Conditions suit as he likes extreme distances (which 4 or 5 others have to prove) and his best runs have been on LH level tracks such as Fontwell, Haydock and Wetherby. Going is not a problem and record over sticks is won 3 and placed in 5 altogether from 16 runs. Likes to be up with the pace and can make the running so if given easy lead could be hard to pass Moved to Dr Newland's yard just under 2 years ago after being bought for £33,000 at Cheltenham sales in November. Newland does well at Newton Abbot and has had 3/9 winners and 5 placed in last 12 months (33% win rate). Indeed he has sent 52 horses here over the years with impressive 20% strike rate of 13 winners and 24 places. Jockey doesn't ride for stable that often but has 22% win ratio (5/22).

Very disappointing run !!!

best of luck,

banko

YORK:

17:35 Glorious Politics e/way 16/1 BOG 1/4 odds first 4.

Drops back down into G4 race after disappointing run in G2 on AW at Newcastle. Prior to that showed promise in 3 runs and potentially well in at the weights. From very good sprinting family and half brother to 3 winners at 6f. Interesting jockey booking and good draw so could sneak a place a nice odds .

Re: FRIDAY Afternoon racing at NEWMARKET - YORK - NEWTON ABBOT 13/10/17

Woeful tipping from me since got back from holidays so hope to do better with these three for tomorrow. All ew at best morning prices.

Newmarket 3.00, Massaat. Hard to weight up Limato this season and couldn't have him at a short price in this one so will take him on with Jim Crowley's mount who had a nice comeback win at Newbury before fading to 3rd lto over a mile on soft ground in France. Record at 7f is 1,2,2,1 and record at this course is 2nd in Dewhurst and 2nd in 2000 Guineas, both behind top class winners.

York 2.45. Bravery's victory in the Lincoln was strong form with plenty of winners behind including winners of Royal Hunt Cup and Cambridgeshire Handicaps. Hasn't been placed since but been running in better races than this and off 5lb lower than in Lincoln can go close here.

Newmarket 4.10. Interpidly looked like one to follow when winning at Windsor ahead of horse who won his next two but then went missing for almost three months. Beaten fave on comeback but can put a line through that as he played up in stalls and was slowly away. Turned out again two weeks later with Frankie on board I think we could see a different horse here.

GL all Friday.

Steel Train 245 ya..sure I tipped this up for Lincoln or somewhere early on,was mad on it and backed it a/post etc..Bravery won the race and this was just behind and has not been seen since..at 40/1'' going to have a win bet and an ew...Shelly sometimes brings home the bacon for this stable...

Rich again 430 another big priced one, state of the racing today, Hannagan up,at 25/1 worth a shot if not today throughout the aw meets, hasn’t run bad on both last starts needed them? Hampered bad in one and tenderly brought home in the other.
.Qeyaadah 535. 12/1. Souza up,was eyecatcher lto powering home from the back, cmon Souza.

Mrs gallagher 150. Trail blazed lto before it petered out,was leading at the pole so drop back in trip should suit?

Maudlin magdalen 800 Dundalk,Carnot think why this is 33/1 cus I had it marked down has a bet not...so I’ve got too have it..must have ticked wrong one0

Gl all tough over the next two d errays"well that's got to be the worst tips I have ever put up.....

I know how you feel being out of form though End of Flat & Start of Jumps & Vice Versa is when the shrewd have a dabble, April /May & October /November is when I least get on the horses, concentrate more on football that is 2/3 months into season.

Good luck for today & weekend certainty, am at a Oktoberfest tonight so they'll sore head for sure tomorrow, Ha Ha.

Re: FRIDAY Afternoon racing at NEWMARKET - YORK - NEWTON ABBOT 13/10/17

NA 4:55 David Pipe's Daklondike looks on a reasonable mark for his chase debut. Was a ptp winner fto over here and won at this time last year in a novice hurdle on heavy at Lingfield. Now chasing Daklondike is a half brother to Great Expectations who also ran for this yard and was a winner over fences in a grade 3 rated 147. Daklondike might need this run today but chasing was always going to be this horses future and 11/2 today makes it value for a bet and certainly 1 worth noting for the season ahead.

Good Luck All.
